A Dedicated Volunteer Organization for Humanitarian and Social Relief and Empowering Youth for Quality Life
Sarathi Foundation Nepal is a charitable Non-Profit Making Organization. The organization is a pure volunteer organization serves the poor, marginalized unreached children living in remote corners of Nepal.
Humanity, Neutrality, Impartiality, and Independence are our guiding principles for any service we offer.
National and International donations are our major sources of funds. 90 to 95 percent of donation we received utilizes for direct program priority. Rest 10 to 5 percent depending on the remoteness of the program sites, utilizes for logistic expenses. Sarathi Foundation itself covers its office operation expenses from own income generated through consultancy services by the charity member.
Humanitarian and Social relief is material, logistic and social assistance to people who need help. It is usually short-term help until the long-term help by the government and other institutions replaces it. Among the people in need are the homeless, refugees, and victims of natural disasters and human-induced disasters. Moreover, we provide our technical and material assistance in disaster risk management to reduce the potential disaster risk including climate resiliency.
Read More [+] Right to Education is material and social support to the neediest student age of 6-14 years. The aim of the program is to ensure the right of children to free and compulsory education. Sharathi Foundation provides its support to individual children to enable them to regularize the class attendance for better learning. We work with local government and School Management committee to reach to the neediest student in province two and six targeting to poor and marginalized student. In addition, We facilitate carrier counseling to the student to set their appropriate, realistic and attainable education goals.
Read More [+] Quality of Life is aimed an overarching term for the quality of the various domains in life of the youth. We run youth campaign to improve soft skills of the youth, creating positive hopes and expectations of an individual or society for a good life. These expectations are guided by the values, goals and socio-cultural context in which an individual lives. It is a subjective, multidimensional concept that defines a standard level for emotional, physical, material and social well-being of the youth.
